Great food . Good service especiallfrom Amanda the " Maitre Die"
Forgot our morning call on one occasion
Room had a lot of character and was very comfortable. Good view from retaurant and good food.
First night restaurant service poor. Needed more than 2 staff. Waitress did not seem to be trained properley. Much improved on 2nd night with 3 staff. Could do without jazzy background music.
Only had filter coffee in bar area would be nice if they had other coffee - latte, capucchino etc and crisps or nuts served in the bar area to enjoy with your drink
We planned to attend a funeral at St. Andtrews on the day after staying at the Old Manor Hotel. The hotel seemed ideally located for us.The Hotel Management gave us a very comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. We found the Hotel Staff gave us an excellent service. We would definately stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if we should be in Fife.
No complaints, except that we had a wake up call when we did not ask for one.
Heplful friendly staff.
Nice location and friendle staff
Nice hotel with restaurant and bistro on site, they also provide an excellent breakfast. We have stayed at this hotel before and look forward to returning again.
Considerable improvement in staff / service - and food - since our last visit (around 3 years ago). our knowledge of this hotel dates back to 1969 - soon after we moved to live in Lundin Links (until 1978).
The bedrooms (and bathroom) are rather small - which we knew from previous visits - but overall the accommodation provides fair value for the price.
Excellent food. Nice view to the Firth of Forth. 45 min. to Edinburgh town centre. 30 min. to EDI.
WLAN is slow and not available in all rooms.
Having stayed several times at the hotel, the staff are excellent, cannot do enough for you, always very friendly but not over powering, just love this hotel which I would highly recommend. The setting from the sea-view rooms is just breathtaking, will definatley be back.
We were attending a wedding at the hotel and ev erything was well organised, food was great and attention to detail was excellant
We arrived to a very cold room, complained to reception who checked and said that the fuse had tripped, ok but on return to room found that only the bathroom was heated. Bedroom was very cold with only a very small heater to augment the temperature, they managed to get a plumber to come out and repair it while we were already changed and at the wedding. Surely the room had not been used very much prior to our visit, ,perhapds a check of all rooms prior to booking out would be helpful. Also there was no marmalade available at breakfast, or in the hotel. Was told there was a discount for wedding guests, this did not happen, bad pr I am afraid.
